After earning a degree in American Studies and spending several years in finance at Capital Group, Shaka moved to England to pursue graduate studies in Media Journalism — a decision that helped shape his path into storytelling and creative production.

My Tone

“The tone of my work is raw with purpose. I want listeners to feel like they are part of my conscience. I’m drawn to the funny, honest, and vulnerable moments in conversation, and I weave those elements together to paint a narrative picture of our world.”

My Passion

“Everything starts with conversation. I’m drawn to the exchange of ideas, cultural references, humor, and honest perspective — whether it happens in person, on screen, or through audio. If the chemistry feels right, there’s usually a story worth turning into a moment, a photoshoot, or a podcast.”

My Vibe

“Comedy is the religion I subscribe to. I believe everything gets better with a little comedic energy. I value open-minded collaboration, honest conversation, and the kind of creative chemistry that makes the process just as meaningful as the final product. To me, there’s as much beauty in the collaboration as there is in the final masterpiece. Basically, if I’m involved, chances are we’re going to make something good — and have a good time doing it.”

He remains passionate about collaborative storytelling and is always open to new creative opportunities.
